Foliage is a seamless, baby-girl dress worked in round from the top down. This baby dress pattern is an original design by Deetara for Biscotte Yarns.

The front and the back up to the bodice are worked plain then the body is worked in lace pattern to the end of skirt. After the raglan yoke is complete, the sleeves and body are separated. It has a full princess skirt. This is designed with positive ease, so there will be lots of room to grow into it. This pattern is worked flat in rows then in the round from the top down.

Pattern sizes : 6 (12, 18, 24) months. Model shown in size 12 months.

In addition to the pattern, you will need the following material to knit this cute baby dress:

Yarn: Biscotte Yarns 378 yards (346 meters) 115 grams / 4.06 oz;

Lobster Bisque 1 (1, 2, 2) skeins.

Needles: US size 4 (3.5 mm): 16" and 24” ; US size 4 (3.5 mm): a set of 4 ; US size 5 (3.75 mm): 24" circular (only for skirt hem lace pattern C)

Notions: (1 of different color to mark beginning of round); (as needed for skirt pattern); ; tapestry needle; three buttons (size1/2"- 12mm).

Gauge: 24 stitches and 32 rows in St st over 4 inches(10cm) on 3.50 mm (U.S. #4) needles after wet blocking.
